Shooters Mahima, Shreya to represent India in Junior World Cup

PISTOL Shooter Mahima Turhi Agrawal and Rifle Shooter Shreya Agrawal have been selected to represent Indian team in forthcoming Junior World Cup-2018 to be organised in Sydney (Australia) in March. Mahima will participate in 10-metre pistol and Shreya will compete in 10-metre rifle and mixed events. Mahima has also been selected to participate in Senior World Cup to be held in Mexico in February 2018 where she will play in individual mixed events of 10-metre category.

Mahima will also represent the Indian team in Senior World Cup to be organised in Germany, USA and South Korea. Mahima is being trained under the ‘Project Leap’ scheme of Gagan Narang Sports Promotion Foundation under the guidance of internationally acclaimed trainers. Gun for Glory, Director, Prashant Jain informed that Mahima and Shreya are being trained under the supervision of Academy Coach Nishant Nathvani for last three years. Mahima is BA (Psychology) first year student of Mankunwar Bai Women’s College, while Shreya is a student of class XI in Symbiosis Higher Secondary School.
