  • 2011

    GNSPF was set up with Shri. Gagan Narang’s Olympics and Commonwealth Games Prize Money. He and Shri. Pawan Singh both together established the foundation in 2011.

    The 1st Gun For Glory Championship was organised in Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Balewadi, Pune.

  • 2012

    Four shooters of the foundation represented India at the London Olympics<

    • Shri. Gagan Narang won the historic Bronze Medal at the London Olympics. The 2nd Gun For Glory Championship was organised in Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Balewadi, Pune.

  • 2013

    GNSPF & Gujarat Govt. join hands to carry out talent identification across the state and implement District Level School Sports programs. The 3rd Gun For Glory Championship was organized in Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Balewadi, Pune.

  • 2014

    The first franchise of Gun For Glory Shooting Academy in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.

  • 2015

    The 4th Gun For Glory Championship was organised in Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Balewadi, Pune. The biggest competition in the country at that time with 3200+ participants.

  • 2016

    Shri. Gagan Narang represented India at the Rio Olympics.

    Rubina Francis, the Para Pistol Shooter identified through the foundation's talent search program, won Gold at the Para Shooting World Cup.

  • 2017

    Foundation launched its flagship program Project Leap, A multi-phased sponsored project designed for selected shooting athletes in collaboration with Olympic Gold Quest.

  • 2018

    GNSPF was awarded the prestigious Rashtrapati Khel Protsahan Puraskar for for identification and nurturing of budding talent.

  • 2019

    GNSPF are awarded Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar for identifying and nurturing shooters.

  • 2020

    Elavenil Valarivan becomes World No.1 in 10-M Air Rifle for Women.
