Project Leap
GNSPF has initiated a unique talent search program which is carried across India. In this program potential shooters, especially from schools and colleges, are identified and are then inducted into a special curriculum-based training program.
State-Wide Talent Hunts
GNSPF has tied up with various state governments like those of Gujarat and Telangana and conducts state-wide talent searches in their respective state, thereby reaching the masses and making the sport available for all. Through all its efforts, GNSPF has touched the lives of over 25,000 potential candidates and the number is only increasing more and more.
A talent once identified can sure go to waste without proper guidance and nurturing. This is why GNSPF has set up the first-of-its-kind, state-of-the-art shooting academy the ‘Gun For Glory’ (GFG) Shooting Academy. GFG boasts of the best-in-class infrastructure will all the facilities needed to mould a talented candidate into a future gold medallist. GFG’s unique training program guides the amateur candidates right from the first time until they reach the international platform and represent India in the Olympic sport.
The success of this training program is showcased by the fact that our efforts gave way to 47 international medals, 7 new world records and 42 national medals. This success has not just helped us in Pune but also in the 17 other locations spread across India, where GFG is present and provides training and support to shooting aspirants.
