FOCUS
The program focuses mainly on those children who have never experienced the Olympic sport of Shooting. 200 students will be provided scholarships to learn the sport and represent their school in various competitions, compete at state, zonal & national competitions in 2021.
TALENT POOL
Talent hunts are being conducted across schools in Bhubaneswar (for 11-14 years), based on scientific parameters (meta-cognitive, neuro-cognitive & physical attributes).
As part of the 1st phase, approximately 4000 shooters undergoing the talent identification process.
SCHOLARSHIPS
200 selected students will get scholarships.
A similar scholarship program will be extended to other districts of Odisha in Phase 2.
